Kaze Brawl Stars Ultra Legendary Brawler: The Ninja-Geisha Powerhouse

Kaze Brawl Stars Ultra Legendary

She’s elegant, she’s deadly, and she’s unlike any other Brawler we’ve ever seen before. Kaze, the brand-new Ultra Legendary Brawler introduced in the latest Brawl Talk, is here to redefine what it means to master two forms in a single game. With an innovative dual-aspect mechanic that allows players to seamlessly shift between her Geisha and Ninja personas, Kaze is setting a new bar for complexity and strategy in Brawl Stars.

Who is Kaze?

Kaze is more than just a combatant—she’s a story. Raised as a living ninja weapon by her family, she always longed to live a peaceful life as a geisha. That dream came true when she met Kenji, and the two opened a restaurant in Starr Park. But make no mistake: behind that soft exterior lies a razor-sharp edge.

In-game, she reflects this balance of elegance and lethality by switching between two distinct combat styles, each with its own attacks, Supers, gadgets, and strategies.

Ultra Legendary: A New Rarity Tier

Kaze is the first of a brand-new rarity tier: Ultra Legendary. This tier is reserved for Brawlers who don’t just bring power—but change the way the game is played. Ultra Legendaries like Kaze are packed with unique mechanics and extra layers of depth.

When you unlock an Ultra Legendary, it’s not just a new fighter—it’s a full learning experience.

Dual Playstyle Mechanic: Two Brawlers in One

Kaze’s most defining trait is her dual playstyle. You can instantly switch between her Geisha and Ninja aspects at will, mid-match. This isn’t just a cosmetic shift—it’s a complete change in how she moves, attacks, and supports her team.

Understanding when to change forms is the key to mastering Kaze. It’s not just about reacting—it’s about outplaying your opponents by shifting momentum on the fly.

Geisha Aspect

As a Geisha, Kaze is a close-range duelist. She uses bladed fans to dash toward enemies and slice them up. Her main attack features a Strike Spot—hit it perfectly, and you’ll deal bonus damage and activate certain abilities.

Her Super in this form is called Fan Storm. It creates a wide area where:

  • Enemies lose visibility

  • Moving out of the storm causes damage

  • You gain soft control of the battlefield

Ninja Aspect

Switch to Ninja mode, and Kaze becomes a mid-to-long range DPS monster. She throws shurikens that do more damage the closer the target is, encouraging aggressive positioning.

Her Ninja Super allows her to dash through enemies, marking them for explosive delayed damage—just like an anime showdown. Marked targets are essentially ticking time bombs.

How to Switch Forms Effectively

Switching aspects isn’t just a gimmick—it’s core to her success. Use Ninja mode for approach and damage, then Geisha for disruption and close-quarters finishers. After each throw or dash, consider whether it’s the right moment to shift and reset pressure.

Strike Spot Mechanic

Exclusive to her Geisha form, the Strike Spot is a focused area on her attack. Hitting enemies in this zone unlocks extra damage and triggers gadget or star power effects. It rewards precision aiming and smart positioning.

Gadgets: Geisha and Ninja Bonuses

Kaze’s gadgets change based on her current form.

Geisha Gadgets:

  • Speed Boost after switching to Ninja

  • Invisibility on switch for quick escapes

Ninja Gadgets:

  • Healing Dash after returning to Geisha

  • Mobility Burst to escape or close gaps

Each gadget enhances the fluidity of her dual aspect gameplay.

Star Powers: Tactical Enhancements

Kaze’s Star Powers also reflect her duality.

Geisha Star Powers:

  • Slows enemies hit in their weak spot

  • Removes ammo from those caught in Fan Storm

Ninja Star Powers:

  • Marked enemies explode, damaging others

  • Extended effects (by 50%) when switching to Ninja

These are all about tempo control and punishing poor enemy positioning.

Kaze’s Dual Hypercharges

Yes, she has two Hypercharges—one for each form.

Hypercharge: Ancient Energy (Geisha)

  • Adds damage-over-time to Fan Storm

  • Controls space and drains health subtly

Hypercharge: Swift Assassin (Ninja)

  • Increases dash speed

  • Instantly detonates marks if enemy is low HP

This adds depth and flexibility to how you choose to engage enemies depending on your team comp.

Tips to Master Kaze

  • Start in Ninja form to poke and mark

  • Switch to Geisha to dive and finish

  • Use gadgets during transitions to create surprise windows

  • Use terrain to your advantage—especially when placing Fan Storms

Best Maps and Modes

Kaze excels in:

  • Knockout: mobility and burst potential are crucial

  • Heist: Ninja shurikens shred safes fast

  • Wipeout: high skill ceiling = high reward

  • Gem Grab: control both mid and enemy retreat zones

Synergies and Counters

Best Teammates:

  • Max (speed synergy)

  • Gray (teleport in, switch, finish)

  • Bo (vision helps ambushes)

Tough Matchups:

  • Spike: area control punishes transitions

  • Shelly: close-range monster

  • Tick: zoning disrupts flow

Lore and Visual Design

Her design is a masterclass in thematic storytelling—her Geisha form is refined and calm, while her Ninja mode is feral and relentless. Even her sound design adapts: you hear subtle changes when switching forms, reinforcing the dual identity.

Conclusion: Why Kaze is a Brawler Worth Mastering

Kaze isn’t just a new Brawler—she’s a milestone. Her dual forms create an ever-shifting playstyle that rewards both mechanical skill and strategic thinking. If you’re someone who loves high-risk, high-reward gameplay, Kaze is absolutely worth the grind.

She may be Ultra Legendary, but with the right hands, she’s a game-changer.
